How do I overclock a cyrix II 333 cpu on my m'board. Its a m571 and it can go up to 83FBS.
Any help ,anyone...???

Wouldn't recommend that you overclock ANY Cyrix CPU...That 333 is a pentium rating, basically the same idea behind AMD's XP processor. Or in otherwords, this 'factory/internally overclocked' CPU performs at approx the same as a INTEL 333

Sorry, don't do it. You have purchased a very low-end CPU. Leave alone. It's fine for it's design...........A basic PC on the net/ run Word.

ok, well, you guys are right, Cyrix processors are well...crap. but, I have an old Cyrix MII 300 (which actually runs at 225mhz) which I have succesfully overclocked to MII 333 status (or about 266mhz)...
anyway Dave K., If your still interested in knowing how to perform an OC of one of these bad boys... First set the jumpers to the factory default, then step the Frequency multipier up one knotch, if it works then try another knotch up, keep doing this until you get a windows protection error, at this point you will need to incirment the Vcore up a notch...
also, dont' do any of this without a good heatsink...
