Wierd issue...not sure if I should be worried or not. When I hit ctrl alt delete to bring up the task manager the CPU shows 100% usage for a second then goes down to 2% and will fluctuate. iexplore.exe is using 58,500 to 63,000K memory...is this normal? What else could be causing the spike in CPU usage. Haven't encountered any problems yet, but keeping an eye on it. svchost and explorer are other processes that are using most of the CPU in the 20,000K memory range. Previously I had a half gig of ram and installed a new RAM card to expand the memory. Could this be a problem? Had it installed at Staples...what if they installed a kind of RAM that was different than what I previously had in the computer. Is there a way to check this easily? Any other thoughts on what might be causing the problem?
