CPU usage 87-100%

CPU/Ram: 1gb
Product: sony Sz220P

i reformated/factory restored my laptop...
is SOO slow and heats up like a heater...
i clt alt del....CPU USAGE 87% (without even moving the mouse) if i move it...goes right up to 100%
if i try to restart or shut up...
it freezes...

Rmb the comp is factory restored....
i even formated the drives.....

Any reasons why???

SYSTEM is running at like HIgh

then its System idle pros.

When the system is idle, the "system idle" process should be high...usually about 99%.

Since you have a laptop, try removing the battery. Have a look at this thread:

still lags liek crazy...Cant even shut down..
it hangs when i try to restart or Shut down..

taking the batt out doesnt help...

any other ideas??? its drivin me CR@ZYY

Tried starting it in "Safe Mode"?
