Comment:

I'm lookin for a replacement CPU in my laptop, its a Pentium M 1.6GHz socket 479. Does anyone kno where I can find one? Or better yet have idea for an upgrade? Some people say the 478 CPU will fit my socket 479 board and some people say that's crap. Which is true? I dont want to spend all that money for a new CPU unless it will work.

Are you 100% sure the CPU is bad?
