Ya I have a problem with a Cpu temprature. The CPU is a slot 1, 566Mhz Intel celeron with an FSB of 66Mhz. The problem is that the CPU temprature goes as high as 75 0C. I changed the original Heat sink it came with with a bigger one and of course a bigger fan too. The first processor burnt for an unidentified reason after working for 1 month and am afraid the second one will burn. It has GFXel chipset. Could anyone help me

you probably need a bigger PSU.... I had about a 20C change when my 350watt blew out and I put in my spare 300watt temp hovered around 65c....instead of 40c-45c... and that was with the original cooler unit..
now I got a 400watt and a new heatsink and temps are at 38-40c..

DAWM!! that high for a pentium. The best bet is that you haven't installed the heat sink correctly. Remove the heat sink and try reinstalling it. And also buy some thermal compound to cool down the CPU. ARtic Silver III is a great one. Are you sure that what ever software utility you are using to check the temps. is working fine. Some software programs don't tell the readings correctly. Retail Heat sinks that come with the CPU's should work wihtout any problems or heat issues and sometimes you can even overclock with the retail heat sink. Anyways, do the things I suggested above and let us know how it went.
Hope this helps.

Ditto on the heatsink reinstall. Less is more with asIII or whatever you use between the hsf and cpu. A thin layer is all you need.
