1st of all, I highly doubt your CPU temp was 87C.

2nd, check the BIOS for your temp

3rd, try another temp reading program. Many motherboard manufacturer's provide a Windows based program...try their website. Or you could try MotherBoard Monitor (MBM 5)...make sure to choose the right board/sensor from the list

I believe that your bios may be reading an incorrect cpu temp. Im not sure if i am correct but i think that windows-based temp monitoring programs go through the bios to read the temp so if the bios is reading a bad temp then so will the OS. Go to your motherboards website and download and install the latest bios version.

(if i am wrong about anything please correct me)

Stop using Aida32 to monitor temps. That readout has to be wrong. It this machine a hp? Aida32 doesn't seem to know if it's a cognac or pinole motherboard (pretty close to the same) and I'd guess it can't read the ITE IT8705F chip. I'd also guess the bios doesn't have temp reporting.

Only thing you can try is to download and run every temp reporting utility you can find until you get, if you can get, a reading that approaches reasonable.

Or, you can purchase a front panel temperature sensor add-on and start placing temp sensors where you want them.

How come you're concerned about temps, but not voltage? Something's not right with the ones with the stars next to them.

CPU Core 2.96 V ****
+2.5 V 2.16 V
+3.3 V 1.81 V ****
+5 V 6.83 V ****
+12 V 12.22 V

Obviously the readings are wrong. Try CPUZ & see what you get:

Another question and remark:

Question: What are your voltages now?

Remark: Your cpu temp seems to be reported low now. How's the weather where you live?
