Comment: what's the normal operating temperature for an AMD DURON 1000 CPU?
the CMOS setup program shows the CPU tempurature at 40°C (104°F), is this normal or too hot?

Reply: (edit)Max temp is 90 C and AMD usually likes you to keep at least 10 C below that so I think you’re fine.

Is it dagerous???

Reply: (edit)have amd 950 that starts to freeze for about .5 sec, random intervals, when flying sims or dvd movie when temp on gigabite board reports 54c. Works ok at 51c. repeatable results.

and Athlons at about 43 deg C
