cpu temp

hi i am running pc wizard and its saying my processor temp is 43.5c #mainboard temp looks ok at 36c
butit also says power/aux at 46.5
its this too hot fans sound a little rattly
but processor fan is at 3054 rpm and chassis fan is at 2057rpm is the cpu and power/aux too hot ?
processor is an amd sempron2800 socket 754
(yes i know its crap am upgrading in 5 months)

Your Sempron temp is just fine. Power/Aux looks ok too. What is the manufacturer and model of your motherboard or system?

If you are really concerned about your PC temps, blow the computer out with canned compressed air or an air compressor (about 20 PSI)

mobo is and Asus k8n-vm version rev1.x
MB-1234567890 isthe serial number if that helps any
bios is american megatrends

Power/Aux is probably chipset temperature...46.5°C is fine.

In a nutshell, mainboard/case and cpu temps should be within 10°C of each other.

blasted out with air found a little copper heatsink on the mobo which was loaded with dust
cleared that out as most other fans and stuff were fine
temps now reading at
processor 35c
mainboard 36c
power/aux 38.5c
booted into windows alot quicker also though that was proberly my imagination as it usually takes a bit longer to boot that what i had this morning
