Hi. Re-enter CPU Settings in the CMOS Setup. How do I do that, I need help.
Bios are Phoenix Award Bios v6.00 PG.
Motherboard is Syntax P4S865PE. Thanks Horst

To clear the CMOS, refer to your mobo's manual to find the CMOS jumper(or find it yourself, should be just 3 pins by themselves away from other pins). Usually you will move the jumper a pin over, let it sit for a second, and then move it back to where it was.

As long as the power supply is plugged in, there's power going to the motherboard, even when the PC is turned off. Because of this, you should always unplug the power cord before using the ClearCMOS jumper (or removing the battery)...if not, the BIOS may not reset

Hi. Thanks for the help, know after I done this now it says CMOS checksum error- defaults loaded. I press F1 and the window loads, how do I correct that. Thanks Horst

After clearing CMOS, you have to enter the BIOS & run thru each & every setting, resetting them according to your hardware configuration. Just press the DEL key upon bootup....

Hi.
I did go into the bios setting and changed the time and date, everything else was ok, but now it says. Please re-enter cpu settings in the csmos setup and remember to safe before quit. How do I do that. Thanks I still need help. Horst
