K63, Via MB chipset...165w power supply, 128 ram, Win98. Compaq custom deal. Got it in 98. 9m ago started with an occasional 'no start' (my term). The 3 indicator lights come on (HD, Power, Sleep, the fans (power and case) spin, and the CD/DVD moves a bit. No HD movement. Then, after sitting a few days or weeks it runs fine. Just had it up last night for 3 hours. Tried again later in the day- nothing. I jiggled (case is off) the power wires, and now the fans seem to be at half speed. Any thoughts?

power supply too small and possibly almost dead. Put a 235 watt power supply in there
