Hi, thanks for the help in advance.
I'm having a really unusual problem.
Whenever I install a program that needs a reboot or install a driver that requires a reboot to take place, or even if I just simply reboot the computer, it causes the cpu to run at half speed when it boots back up. The computer boots back up real slow and when I can finally look at the info it says it's running at 800+ mhz instead of 1.67 gigahertz.
The only way to fix it after it does this is to turn off the computer and unplug it for about 20 minutes. Then I plug it back in and boot up and its back to normal operating speed until the next time I have to do a reboot.
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Go to this website and down load this program after you install any program and restart, then check to see if the speed is really at 800Mhz+ instead of 1667Mhz...
