Hi all
was wondering if my comp is running to hot or in danger of over heating...
CPU with factory heatsink and fan
Intel core 2 duo e6750 2.66 ghz
mid load temp using speedfan is at 147F resting 122F. Is that normal or too hot? I know a P4 cant really go over 160F but this isnt a P4. Any ideas?

Always post temps in Celsius.

122F = 50C idle

147F = 63.9C load

Temps are higher than most I've seen. It should be under 40C (104F) at idle. What's the avg room temp? Did you check the BIOS to see if the temp readings agree with SpeedFan?
