Comment: I recently flashed my bios on my M-board and now when it boots, it says 1500 when it used to say 2100. Everything seems normal, the bios flash went uneventful. Is there a way to reset it to 2100+ and am I actually running @ the slower speed? How can I actually tell? I think the 2100+ is like a 1.7 Gig right? My system is: MSI KT3 Ultra 2 ATH 2100+ 512 PC2700 WIN 98SE Geforce 4 MX 440 Thanks in advance!

Reply: (edit)The bios flash may have reset fsb/multiplier. read your motherboard manual. It will tell you how to reset things either by bios changes or by jumpers or switches. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for life.
