I've recently used easytune 4 to overclock my system (used beginners auto optimize function). Easytune warned my CPU temp was 63.

I downloaded SiSoft Sandra to double check and there are 2 temp settings:
CPU: 40
Power/Aux: 61

Which temp should i be keeping an eye on? And is my cpu running a bit hot?

If so, how do you re-set it back to the original settings with easytune?

Cheers.

Crank that baby on up there. Overclocking heaven. Let's get it warm!

Don't play the game if you don't know even the basics like a desirable or safe temp, unless you've got a lot of $$$$$

You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users

There's no way for the psu to get that much hotter than the cpu so Sandra should have misread the readings. Power/Aux had to be your cpu tempterature and 40°C should be the usual mainboard temperature!!!

Everything above 60°C is hot if that's the reading at full (100%) cpu usagage and way too hot for lower load!
