My CPU is locked at 1.7ghz when its a 2.26ghz. I have PC 3200 RAM, but I found out my mobo doesnt support it, so it makes it a PC 2700. I am thinking this is the problem. Would its help if I got a new mobo that supports it? Also does the Chipset matter on the motherboard and the CPU, so that I can get full speed or something like that?

Is your FSB set to 100Hz? Set it to 133Hz and off you go...

the board will hold u back. u need to run the pc 3200 at a higher speed

the FSB is locked at 100mhz. I am basically looking for a second opinion just to make sure if I need to get a new mobo. Another thing is to overclock the RAM do I up the SDRAM from my DDR 3200 because thats the only thing I can change RAM wise

There maybe a jumper on the motherboard that has it locked at 100mhz if u switch it u will be able to go up to 133 or higher.
