When I try to load up windows, at the begingin I get
CPU is unworkable or has been changed.
press F1 to continue or Del to go into Menu.
Now when I continue, at the load of windows, I get an error trying to load explorer.exe and to reinstall windows.
The boot sequence will not work...It wont load floppy first nor will it load the CD first.. Can something be wrong with the CPU?
I restored it to its Defaults on the menu but same thing happens still... any thoughts..?

Try enabling "bootup floppy drive seek" or whatever it's called and if there's a BIOS option for which drive to boot in which order, obviously make sure it says floppy first.

Try restoring your BIOS to its default by removing the MOBO battery for a few minutes, by jumper on the MOBO, or, since you can actually get into CMOS, by selecting that setting and saving it. If you do it in CMOS, make sure you allow the computer to attempt to reboot before you turn the power off! Sometimes, failing to do this trashes the BIOS and you will then have a dead MOBO.

Look on the BIOS page where you set the FSB and Vcore voltages. Disable "Speed error hold". Then save the changes and reboot.

Read this Intel page. You need a BIOS update.

Same here. Is your mobo an ABIT? It seems that is is an Abit only problem. I run BD7II-RAID with the latest BIOS. The error message always appears during the boot. When I press F1 the message disappears and I can boot the OS. Never had the prob with QDI, FIC or ASUS.
