CPU hs & Fan fell off during ship

I bought a computer mail order. During shipping the plastic tits that the heat sync clamps down to broke and the heat sync & fan will no longer attach to the CPU. Is there any kind of glue I can use to re-attach? I'm feeling kind of stuipid here. TIA...Kelly

I sure wouldn't try it, Kelly. those clamps go on tight. my advice is to check out their return policy. Where they smart enough to use insurance? maybe fedex will pay?

You might want them to ship another CPU too. If there was enough force for those pieces of plastic to break, your CPU core may nave been chipped by the HSF.
