Comment:
I recently bought a new cpu heatsink, Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro with PWM. I bought this, hopping it would quiet down my current heatsink, which ran at nearly 5000rpm on load. While installing the new heatsink, i was unable to complete pull down the lever, which locks the heatsink to the cpu. Though i've tried, it feels like i might break the lever if i push too hard. What should i do?
Two questions. Are you sure the HS is designed to fit your MBoard. Are sure you haven't installed backward? Lever should be toward the outer edge of the MBoard.
i'm pretty sure the heatsink is designed to fit my mobo, and yea, the clip is on the outer edge of the mobo, exhausting the hot air out through the back of my case.
