CPU Fan running very fast

HI.. im having a PC with P4 2.8GHz. Some time, mostly the CPU fan is running very fast and comes down in normal status. When i check the CPU usage in Task manager it shows 100%. since i hadn't use any application. just navigate between applications. Is there is any problem in my Processor..?? pls help me...

There's "something" using the CPU. When's the last time you scanned for viruses or spyware?
