I have a motherboard (Dell) that has a different type of connector for the case fan (non-TX-3). I have a celeron chip w/intel fan that has a three wire TX-3 connector. I think I can leave the case fan connected and add the cpu fan by installing a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter to allow connection to the power supply, providing the 3 pin connector on the adaptor is a female TX-3. Any other solutions? Is ther an amperage problem, the intel fan is rated at 0.08 amps. Thanks, ken
