OS: Windows 98 SE
CPU/Ram: Pentium III Coppermine 86

My Processor ( Pentium III 866) always works at 100% when i check any application that tells me how many percent is used on my CPU and ALL program show 100%. I also have 2 harddrives each with windows 98, The main one has this problem a th other doen't and they both use the same processor.I have Norton antivirus 2003, ad-aware AND Spybot Search and Destroy + i defrag, clean my computer every month. i think it might be a damaged system file. I did the task mangaer trick and shut down ALL processes EXCEPT kernel32.dll ( It is the main DLL ) So Kernel32.dll could be the problem please help!!!!

Some software will cause a false CPU usage. Does your system run OK. Try running a benchmark and compare it to reference systems. When running Adaware, etc, do you always find the same stuff? Have you updated those apps?
