Hey Guys Well after looking at Cpu-Z for my CPU in bordem i realised under description it says Core2Duo E6600 ES which stands for Engineering Sample. Is this correct as when i brought my cpy it had previously been lapped so could not read writting on top? If someone could confirm this it would be great i have included a pictire
No the CPU wasnt retail it was just claimed as used. Anyhow the problem is I have tried for months to get the CPU to run at 3.6ghz using help from the forum and friends nothing works, So could this be a factor to why it doesnt seem to do 3.6ghz and only seems stable at 3.4ghz? Many thanks Damian
