According to Vr-Zone.com

-Nehalem loses in game performance against Phenom X4 65nm (not to mention 45nm version) due to cache structure

-You have to buy expensive DDR3-memory

-You have to buy expensive X58-motherboard

-You have to buy 1000 USD processor if you want to overclock

-Phenom X4 45nm is said to overclock close to 4GHz with air..and at least with 65nm version Phenom X4's Performance/clock frequency gets better and better compared to Core i7 when clock frequencies get bigger. 45nm version has better cache and has better ipc than 65nm version

-Phenom X4 45nm consumes a lot less wattage.

If it's broke, then blow that sucka up!

You mean according to some guy named "Niceone." or is this from another link?

Looks like Intel is suffering from Nvidia syndrome: They dominate and start to relax for a small while..giving room for AMD.

Possible outcome: When I update my system at the end of the year I might have AMD for processor and AMD for GPUs .."

I'd like to see some benchmarks.

That's where he got his info from, but with that said Niceone has been right on the money with hardware news and the sources he gets them from ever since I can remember.

If it's broke, then blow that sucka up!

I'll believe this when I see the benchmarks, but right now I'd bet money that all 3 of the first batch Nehalem processors will trounce the Phenom X4 9950.

For some reason the stuff in the first post reminds me of the time when the Whole Foods CEO got busted for posting comments online disparaging Wild Oats.
