For the core center to report NB temp, there should be a temp sensor attached to NB. Does your mobo have one?

Mine does not read either and looking through the comments on the AMD forum it seems that none do.

CoreCenter seems to be a poor program and everyone says that it over reads the CPU temperature compared to the BIOS and other temperature reading programs. Mine over reads by 4C.

I found that the system temperature in CoreCenter was the same as in other programs but it was higher than I was used to seeing with earlier MSI boards (38C to 43C typically). I have an old fan clipped to my AGP card such that it blows over the northbridge heat sink and that has lowered the system temperature by 10C. It has also lowered the CPU temperature by a few degrees too.

Good luck!

it just seems unusual that Core center would have a box solely for the NB and there being nothing to read the NB temp.

Saying that the temps in the bios and the temps "core" reads are pretty similar.

at the moment my cpu is reading 61 celcius full load....but i have a water cooling system on order so hopefully that will cure that.

They probably added that feature in anticipation of future boards coming enabled.
