I also have aquestion about Intel Core2Duo Processors. I have an HP Pavilion Notebook dv9650us with a 1.5GHz Processor model: T5250. I want to upgrade it to a 2.5GHz processor model: T9300. Is my laptop compatible for installing the T9300? (let me know if I should provide more information) thanks.

You realize that the T9300 will cost you about $325-350, right? The T5250 is a 667MHz FSB CPU, the T9300 is an 800MHz FSB CPU. Most likely, your laptop is based on an Intel 945 chipset which I don't believe supports 800MHz FSB. Have a look at this chart: http://www.intel.com/support/proces...
