Hi, would the cooler master iGreen (85% efficient) 500w power supply rails (£52)
be able to handle

E4300 @ 3Ghz- 112w
8800gts 320mb OC - 600/1900 or higher
Dvd rom
320Gb sata + 40gb IDE
Antec 900 case with 5*120mm fans and one 200mm - around 20-30w
2 sticks of ddr2 667mhz ram
ASUS P5N-E SLI Motherboard

Or should I go with the Hiper M 580w (£52) power supply which is 65-75% efficient.
+ I want to save money on my electricity bill
Thanks for all the help

AMD Sempron 3100 1.8GHZ @ 2.15GHz

ATi X850pro @ 545/1100mhz

NCP DDR400 1GB Ram @ 195MHZ 2.0/5/3/2/T1

It would help if you listed the specs for the Hiper unit for comparison, but the specs on the label of the Cooler Master look pretty good.

Hi
the Hiper 580 is not suitable for sli 8800gts according to nvidia.
, nvidia recommends 730 watt as minimum for dual cards of that type check nvidia certification link

http://www.slizone.com/object/slizo...

(and sli really isnt going to get much more fps etc out of your current setup wait for the Ultras to drop in price in 6 month xmas :)

i read recently some bloke sli 'd a pair of ultras on a QX6800 and basically blew the current crop of wannabes 3dmark 06 scores into the weeds, but its a lot of ££££ (& didnt really improve anything else eg games performance)
