Okay I don't know alot about computers but I will try to present my question to the best of my abilities.

Here are the problems I am encountering:

*Constant restart, when turned on, due to this I can not log on ,so I am using my old one which can barely turn on and is like 50 years old. -_-

*Usually before it screws up it shows a message about OverClock fail and POST something like that but sometimes like 60% of the time there is no message and will just restart.

Solutions I came up with
A)Install XP all over again losing all Data and files...

please help me!

Whats a computer?

You have a hardware problem, not a software problem...do NOT attempt to reinstall XP!

Either your CPU is overheating or your power supply is failing. When's the last time you opened the case to blow out the dust?

Reinstall the OS if you want to troubleshoot any possible hardware failures.

I would reset the CMOS or set the BIOS values to default so you won't get "OverClock fail message"...
