computer wont start

I was overclocking my AMD Sempron 2300 and I think I overclocke it to much. Computer wont start now. Nothing shows up on the moniter and and the cd light are always on, trying to read the cd's?

Use the ClearCMOS jumper to reset the BIOS. Remove the power cord, then move the jumper from "normal" to "clear"...count to 10, then move it back to "normal". Then plug it in, boot up, & correct ALL the BIOS settings. Remember that the Sempron's multiplier is locked, so changing it will have no effect, but sometimes changing it prevents the system from booting...keep it set at 9.5x. Hopefully you have PC3200 RAM, because PC2700 will limit your FSB increase to about 185MHz. You may or may not have to increase the CPU voltage to stabilize the overclock.
