Comment: Help...my computer is constantly crashing. I have to wait a few minutes and then reboot. Is it shutting down because it's too hot? If so, how do i change the settings. I looked and it says the over shut down temp is 95 C. As you can see, I'm a novice at this so any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Reply: (edit)"Is it shutting down because it's too hot?" That's a possibility, pop the side cover open, run the system for an extended period of time and see if it still shuts down. While you are in there, clean out all the dust bunnies that may have accumulated over time on all the fans and heatsinks that you have in there. When Google isn't your best pal

Reply: (edit)Uh, this happend to my 3 friends... Your comp IS shutting down because it is too hot. You know whats causing it? Well the most obvious one is that there is too much dust in your heatsink which is preventing the fan on it to blow out the hot air. Go and buy yourself a can of compressed air for $10 and spray all the dust out of your computer. (Especally near the heatsink area; the place where there is a big metal thing with a fan covering it. Spray it inside the metal thing and make sure the dust is gone) Also, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT!! try to wash it with water. I was an idiot to even do that and break my mobo. Another thing can be due to overclocking too high. This can cause system instability and make it randomly restart/shutdown all of a sudden. Please post your processor's specs here so I can see if it is OCed. Sapphire PC-A9RD480Adv Sapphire Radeon X850CF AMD Athlon 3700+ 2.63GHz 350W Acetech PSU 18A 300W SP PSU 16A

Reply: (edit)sorry for not replying for so long. Anyways, it looks like your processor isn't OCed. Have you tried cleaning out the dust yet? Sapphire PC-A9RD480Adv Sapphire Radeon X850CF AMD Athlon 3700+ 2.63GHz 350W Acetech PSU 18A 300W SP PSU 16A
