Comment:

I have two machines, Compaq DeskPro 2000, keeping in the store for quite some time. Now, I tried to boot up the computers and get no response (after power-up).

Any idea what wrong with the machines?

Thanks.

Do the fans spin?

If not the PSU is bad.

If they do try reseting the ram and bios.

Just pull out the ram and put it back in to reset the ram.

There should be a jumper to reset you bios. If not pull out the battery and short out the termanls with a paper clip.
