Hi, I have a computer, and after at most 1 hour it will invariably freeze, no matter what I'm doing. I have no idea what the problem could be.
My Specs
Athlon XP 1800+ (1533 Mhz)
Epox 8KTA3Pro Motherboard (VIA KT133A AGP)
384 mb PC133 ram
30 gb Western Digital HD
32mb PCI TnT2 (manufactured by PINE)

Lemme guess, youve got win xp with a Sound Blaster Live! card? if so, iv got the same problem (its the audio card (not compatable) need an audigy)

What changes (either hardware or software) have you made recently? Had your system been running OK & then started acting up after making a change? Chances are, the last change you made is the one that's giving you grief!

Do you know what the temps of your system are? Also, like "huh?" asked, have you made any hardware or software changes recently?
To AMD_Inc: Sound Blaster Live! and Windows XP work perfectly fine together. You just need the driver updates, software updates, and possibly a relocating of the actual PCI device to a different slot. (I have a Sound Blaster Live! Platinum and Win XP Pro so I would know..)

To (lol) yourmomma: i know that there is a winxp patch update from creative.com and ive got it installed, but my comp still freezes every 25 minutes or so and I KNOW that it is from the sound card becasue if i disable it in the device manager than my comp wont freeze one time. i have gone through countless hours of troubeshooting and i know exactly what im doing. i think that it is just with the Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer series though so you wouldnt experiance my problem. Also, i have a Sound Blaster Live! X-gamer and Windows XP Pro so i WOULD know ;-)
