Can you boot-up with clear CMOS jumper setting(what will happen)?
Bought new motherboard(KT4 ULTRA) fixed all other hardware and followed all instuctions as per manual. Jumper setting pin 2-3=clear CMOS and pin 1-2 normal setting. So changed my jumper setting to normal and turn the power on. Absolutely nothing happened. No sound, no light and nothing is spinning. Only thing I did on motherboard was changing the jumper setting, so back in there changed it to pin 2-3(clear CMOS jumper setting as in manual).
Turned the power on,everything was working fine except a message saying "Your CPU fan is not working, turn power off, Y/N? i was scared so Y. Then I re-boot again, this time N, everything worked as normal! Got into operating system, tried using some program and all was normal. Back in there again to normal jumper setting, same again nothing working! So changed back to clear CMOS setting and same question appeared again(N) and all is working fine??? Should you be able to start at Clear CMOS setting? Please HELP me. Should I continue using my comp as normal??

Most likely, the motherboard is stenciled wrong, and you have to jumper it the way you have it fo it to work.
