I mistakenly over clocked my system (to 132) by changing at BIOS. Got some info about Jump start to clear CMOS, no idea how to do it.. Please can some one help me, to jump start or anyother method to revert back my original clock setting

You will have to reset the BIOS by using one of two methods:

1. get out the motherboard manual & find out where the ClearCMOS jumper is located on your board. Unplug the power cord & open the PC case. Find the ClearCMOS jumper & momentarily (a minute will do) move the jumper from the "normal" position to the "clear" position. Then place it back in the "normal" position again, close up the case, plug in the power, & fire up your machine. Immediately go into the BIOS & correct all the settings (time, date, IDE devices, FSB, video, etc) that have reset to the defaults.

2. basically the same as the 1st method, but instead of using the ClearCMOS jumper, remove the motherboard's coin battery for a minute, then replace it, then boot into the BIOS & correct the settings

NOTE: always unplug the power cord when using either of these methods or CMOS may not clear

First unplug the power cord. Then remove the cover and take out the battery. Leave it out for a minute or so. Replace the cover and plugged in the computer. Good luck with your overclocking!

Look for a silver looking battery. A little over the size of a US nickle. Most of the time it has a # on it. 2032?
