hay guys:)
small prob here is i jus got a new acer aspir 3610 it runs @1.73ghz
and of course theres no options in bios to OC
now being a laptop i can change the multi easly and i found a program to change ram timeings,when it came time to change fsb i d/l clockgen but it doesnt detect pll.
after playing around with it and reading a few posts here and there i started trying dif intel pll's and found the ics 951 xxx all work and let me change the pcie and pci but none will change the fsb :( anyone know how to do it? heres a link to screenshot of cpuz and clockgen

Tell you the turh if you don't have a way of overclocking the system from within the BIOS, then i wouldn't mess with it especially on a laptop where they can get hot enough as it is due to lack of air movement unlike a destktop. Your better off just upgrading the processor.

iv overclocked laptops many times befor aswell as desktops.
all i want to know is if anyone kwows a way of getting clockgen to see the fsb and not just the pcie and pci

any why to gain an extra 100mhz which doesn't amount to any noticable preformance?

If you can't adjust the FSB then you can't adjust the FSB on that system with clockgen.
