Comment:
i have set my power management to turn off my monitor after 2 min if remain ideal. there was absolutely no problem until onday when i found my computer shuts down entirely when i leave it ideal for 2 min.shut down here does not imply a regular shut down, it is a abnormal shut down as if someone has switched off the power button. then when i tried to turn on the system the system started but with no display.so i tried to enter the bios and then restarted computer.it gave a message "bios checksum error press F1 to continue". i have turned off the power management option & now everything running smoothely. if Any one can tell me the exact problem.. and how to solve it

Check sum errors are usually related to a failing CMOS battery. Very inexpensive to replace, you might try that first.
