Hey all.
I want to change my FSB's speed from 100 MHz to 133 MHz. As you can tell I have PC100 memory so I knwo that needs to be changed before anythign else.
but what else do I need to change in order to up it to 133 MHz?

How about you figure out why your system is freezing first.

That depends very much on your mainboard!
If the board only divides the fsb by 3 (100/3=33MHz) you will run into trouble with 133MHz because then your pci clock will rise to 44,3MHz. Instead boards that fully support 133MHz switch to a divider of 4 (normally on automatic, else in bios) to get back to 33MHz pci and everything is fine!
Your cpu maybe a problem because it's build for 100MHz. That means 133MHz is one third too high!
If you use isa card they may not work because of a too high clock (may also depend on the pci divider above but doesn'T has to).
About the ram, it's possible that it works at 133MHz but set it to the lowest speed (highest CAS wait cycles). I have a 64MB pc100 stick in my asus p2b board and tried a 133mhz setting a while ago. The ram worked but my isa card stopped me so I got back to 112MHz!

Just gave this same answer to your other post:
I'm not familiar with your exact board, but I have a Chaintech 7AJA2E. Mine has an option in the BIOS to run the memory speed at either the same as FSB, FSB-33mhz, or FSB-33mhz...if you have the same option, you should be able to run your FSB at 133 & still use your PC100 RAM. I think it's listed in the BIOS as Host Clock or HstClk (something like that)...HstClk = FSB...so you're options will be, HstClk, HstClk-33, or HstClk+33....
Summary: Changed CPU’s from a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ to a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Core Speed 1460 MHz from a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Core Speed 1659 MHz from a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ In the bios changed from 100/100MHz to...
Summary: I think this isn't going to work, because I have a jumperless mobo, so when I reset the CMOS, (default is 100 MHz FSB) set default values and change FSB Clock Ratio to 133 MHz it still won't work. ...
Summary: actually, with the modded cheepoman bios, you have many speed options above 133/133. heres the release note on a cheepobios "Release notes: - Adjust timing for stability and compatibility - FSB modes...
