I got my new AMD cpu and want to change it,but i have one question do i have to reinstall windows? Also my Epox-8rda will be in this week so when i change my mobo over do i have to format my hardrive or can i just reinstall my existing hardware onto the new mobo?

first off the CPU.....power down...take out the old one put in the new one....when you turn back on your PC...the detect new hardware screen should come up....insert the software disk and instal....as for the HDD do you have a Y IDE cable?

Uninstall all the Chipset related drivers of the older MOBO. Change the CPU+MOBO, start Windows and install the new Chipset drivers, reinstall the drivers for your SVGA card etc...
