Comment:

We had a load of machines using QDI A9 motherboards and oem Celeron 500 cpu's (SL 3FY). Now that some of those boards have died we decided to purchase new ones. What a nightmare finding a board that will work with this CPU

We have tried another QDI (that works - but we dont like them!) Epox EP-3VBM doesnt work
FIC FA15T wont work.

I think this CPU requires 2v but these boards dont allow it. Anyone got one of these CPU's working in another board - If so what is it called.

Many thanks

Dan

man i have a intel 600MHz running on a asus motherboard the asus socket370 MEW-AM chipset intel 810 with 66MHz/100MHz fsb is a good board for celeron processors the only thing is with this cpu you can only run with a bus speed of 66MHz that's one of the draw backs to the celeron 500MHz but that board should work you need to watch for the micoATX form factor and the size of your case
