I'm locked in between Celeron 2.2Ghz and Athlon XP 2400, I just want to play Games atimes, Programming and General Computer Use. Also I'm thinking of using it as a Server. Please let me know which one is better. The CEleron has 128kb cache while the Athlon has 512kb cache Both can be Overclocked !

Sstick with the Athlon. Celerons are only good for people who do no multimedia or gaming, and dont want to spend much money. Basically if you only do your school work on your computer then a Celeron is fine, but performance is lacking every where else. Just my two cents.

I have read on other sites about their reviews concerning the celeron processor, and Intel was planning on raising the cache, but I don't know if they are going for 512KB cache. BTW, they are only 2.80GHz celerons and upwards.
