I've got a celeron tualatin 1.1 which runs at 1.475v, a Gigabyte 6vxc7-4x which has auto voltage detect and won't recognise the CPU. Any way I can make these two work together?

Is the socket the same. If it is, then try and see if it works or not.

Dear Friend
Try a Manual setting of your core voltage, if possible.

Your Tualatin should work anywhere a Pentium 3 CPU operates, Just make sure you clock the system at 100mHz which means a multiplier of 10 or better to hit 1.1 gHz.

Not all MoBos do this,
Good Luck

Guys - I've tried it and it dont work. I've tried removing the cmos battery, reseating memory, graphics cards etc. Nuthin. My mobo wont allow seting voltages manually hence my problem.
