i heard that having an intake fan in the bottom front of your computer and having a exhaust fan in the top back will help with good cooling. so my question is that i have 2 fans on the side bottom of my computer, should i make those two blow in or out?

1st time I've seen two side panel fans set low in the case like that...I'd say they should both be intakes

The two 80 mm fans at lower panel setup came about a year ago. It's the style that sells. But, with 4 80mm intake, 2 80mm side and only ONE 60mm exhaust make you wonder the purpose of all the intakes.

If you care to take another look at Newegg customer reviews, you'll find the same conclusion that this case does not have good ventilation but it DOES look good having so many fans.

Your 2.8C board runs hotter than you think and that 60mm exhaust won't make it. Intel will be annoucing new case ventilation requirements and new Heatsink. This has been circulating amoung Intel Dealers in the past several weeks.

I have the same case but i took out the plexiglass window and put fiberglass window screen in it's place. the only fans are the power supply and the smartfan on the heatsink.
My temps are 35 at idle and 40 with toast.

I would get a 3" hole saw and drill though the top... add an 80mm exhaust just in front of the power supply... 60mm isn't going to exhaust enough...
It is a nice looking case though...
Fugro... what type of hardware?
Until I updated my case fan both intake and exhaust I was running above 50... now running around 41... (1 side intake @ 4200rpm) and two exhaust running at 2900 rpm) I also have a cooler master heat pipe heat sink but I had that when it was running 50+ (58 under load)
this is the case I use...

Bao,

Your case is a good example of one you can't get air into. Even with 4 fans in the front, the air has to enter a small slot at the bottom and then try to get past all the tiny holes in the front...nearly impossible and that's why the two lower side fans are added. It would take one helluva good power supply to exhaust enough air to remove what the side fans provide.

My case, and many more, are built about the same way and none of 'em move any air. Some careful case modding around the on/off and reset switches allow me to sport a 120mm fan bringing air into the case. The result is several °C drop in motherboard temps.

It's likely you don't want to start hacking on your case so, a pair of 80mm fans running at +5v in the front and a blowhole fan in the top like accoberg suggested will help your situation. A pair of side cutters will clip away the little holes in a matter of minutes. Now your harddrive can have some cool air too.

Looks like those two side panel fans are a pretty good setup to provide cool air to a Chill Vent.
