first specs:
PC Chips A11G v1.0 mobo
2x512 Geil DDR2 667 ram
AMD X2 3600 Brisbane core @1.9Ghzok, first there is an option in the bios that allows you to change the CPU core starting at 200, but i change it and the CPU speed doesn't increase. I've lowered my Ram speed to 400 and the computer starts up fine, but when i go to check my speed its still at 1.9Ghz. i've tried to google this problem and only found one result about this board. I'm not too good at overclocking, but this thread said that in you can't have any spread spectrums on to overclock, so i checked and turned off all the spread spectrums, but for some reason i cant turn off the CPU spread spectrum. It shows that its on and its greyed out so i can't access it. Does anybody have a PC Chips A11G v1.0 mobo that they overclock with?

Your Motherboard wasn't made for overclocking, put it this way it's a horrible overclocking motherboard. If you can't lock the PCI-e and PCI Mhz then forget about it.

Agreed, PC-Chips has to be the worst manufacturer of PC motherboards in the world. If you want to overclock, than go for an ASUS board or at least a decent brand such as gigabyte, or MSI.
I have had luck flashing PC-Chips boards to other manufacturers Bios's of the same make (ie pc chips stole the design) But I havent done this for years and I would'nt ever recommend it. In the end, you PC-Chips motherboard is junk.
