Reply: (edit)Spend more money on better heatsinks, water cooling blocks, peltiers, whatever. Stock cooling will not be sufficient to overclock much higher.

Reply: (edit)buy all the cooling devices you want...doubt you will get passed 141 fsb. Only other possible way to overclock more is to unlock the cpu.

Reply: (edit)You should be able to get to 166FSB, check in your bios, and check the settings. and the timing. And you have to up the voltage to the cpu and the DDR. IF you motherboard supports you going to 166FSB. What kind of Ram did you have. I had the same problem, and I had to buy a 400W power supply to make it go that high withthe pc2700.

Reply: (edit)http://www.digit-life.com/articles/viac31ghzlowend/acorp-7kt333-kt333.html The site i have listed is the most informative site that i could find on your board. All the sites i have seen have stated that the voltage is auto detected. If you dont see it in the bios then it probably wont let you switch the voltage.

Reply: (edit)well....wait for zerodead to tell you no...you cant change the vcore. I looked all over the websites for that info. Its Auto detect. No jumpers on the board to change vcore. and you said there was no place in bios to do it. Those are the only ways to do it. No magic software out there to do it. Also check your manual. if its not in there then you cant do it.

Reply: (edit)Basicly your FSB X your 12.5 multiplier = your cpu speed. 12.5X 166 = 2075mhz which I can almost guarantee wont even run on that 2000+ which is supposed to run at 1670mhz. Thats why unlocking your cpu fixes that so you can change the multiplier. But from the sounds of it I wouldnt recomend trying to unlock your cpu as it takes some knowledge of what you are doing and understanding of the basic workings of the cpu. Bottomline: you can forget 166mhz fsb with that 2000+ with your current setup.
