Hi,
Got a new ECS elite group k7vta3 motherboard($54.99 with CPU at frys). Also bought a AMD Duron 1.8GHz, 266MHz DDR 256MB RAM, GeForce2 AGP Card. Sad part is when I power this configuration on, I don't see BIOS screen ! The monitor acts as if nothing happened. I changed to an older PCI based graphics card result is the same. I removed all the peripherals - no use. CPU fan is running, GEForce2 fan is runing. FDD light is glowing, and the CDRom light is orange. I am able to shut off the machine pressing on the power key. Is there a way out - other than returning the motherboard ?
Would appreciate your help
Ramesh

Your FSB is set to high. Look in the manual for setting the jumpers to dcrease your FSB to 100Mhz or 133Mhz. Itll be undr CPU frequency
