cant change fsb in bios

Dell Inspiron 530s


Core 2 duo E4700 2.6 ghz
2 gb ram
Foxconn G33m02 mATX motherboard

it comes with Phonix/Award BIOS. i was trying to change fsb speed but there is no such option in the bios. iim using the latest drivers for bios from dell.

The vast majority of Dell systems are NOT overclockable. That is done deliberately to prevent users from mucking up the settings, then flooding Dell tech support with calls about how their systems can no longer bootup.

The "S" in your model number means it's Slim style case? They have extremely limited upgradeability. What were you hoping to gain by overclocking?
