Comment:

i thought it was about time i started to see what my processor could do.

ive currently managed to go from 2.3ghz to 2.8ghz with no problems so far, and a top temperature on prime of 54°.

specs are:
core 2 duo E6550 with cooler master gemini w/o fans
Gigabyte G31M-2SL m/b
3Gb PC12800 Ram
XFX geforce 9800 GTX

here's a screenie of cpu-z & temp: http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/...

i've been increasing the fsb by 10mhz at a time, with my ram set to 1:1

how far could this processor go, and should i try and o/c my ram timings too?

thanks

Vista nVidia Evolution SP2
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.83GHz
XFX GeForce 9800 GTx

3GB OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Edition
2x Samsung 1TB Spinpoint F1
