Hey guys

i got a P4 2.8Ghz Cpu with Enermax 325watt box pc2700 ddr ram 512 for $100 ! just wanted to know what motherboard should i buy that is easy to Overclock this 2.8 to ??? what ever speed i can i know i probly have to get faster ram please advise !

i didn't get it i asked about the motherboard thats good for OC and how much i can go with 2.8ghz and what kinda memory not a review about hsf :/

Check this mobo out it is a great oc'ing mb.

Uh,What p4 2.8 do you have is it 533MHz fsb or 800MHz fsb?It does'nt matter really because that mb supports all the p4's and the prescott anyway's.It's just that I found the 800's oc alot more than the 533's,in my experiance.I had a p4 2.4b 533fsb and it would only oc to 2.87GHz. then it would get unstable anything more then that.Now my new 2.4c/800fsb this puppy ,well I've got it at 3.2GHz right now and I know it will go alot more but I dont need to go any higher than this.It does everything I need right now fast enough.Dang rambeling on here.

macdady i got my spec wrong if i run Sandra cpu is 2.40Ghz speed 1.8Ghz 2400MHz /4x 133Mhz Multiplier 18/1x p4 Northwood 1.6-3.4Ghz 1.455-1575V & i have no idea if its 533 or 800fsb . how can i tell or check?

i used my friends old Asus P4S333 mobo FSB333 it works ok but some time it hangs ! mobo FSB is 333 dont think that mobo can take 2.40ghz :/ memory pc2100 512
