Don't bother.

We can not fight new wars with old weapons, let he who desires peace prepare for war - PROPHET.

It's not worth it, especially for a minor 200MHz increase in clock speed. You have to realize that laptops vary the CPU speed based on load. This is done to conserve battery power & keep the CPU temperature at a reasonable level. The CPU will not run at full speed unless it's under a heavy load.

How much RAM do you have? You may notice a difference if you increase the RAM amount to 4GB. Or you may simply need to cleanup some of the crapware on your system & tweak Win7 for best performance. For instance, which anti-virus program are you running? If you have Norton or Mcafee, consider replacing it with one of the lightweight feebies such as Microsoft Security Essentials.
