Reply: (edit)No, your Celeron will be a socket 370, whereas the Celeron 2.8 (or 2800 as you put it) is a socket 478. This means you'd have to buy a new motherboard. I think the highest socket 370 Celeron is the 1.4, I may be wrong....... I don't suffer from insanity, I embrace it.
