Chacnes are you can't because it's a name brand pc. You won't have all those options to overclock like you would a 3rd party motherboard.

are you sure i can't overclock it. what if i go out and buy a motherboard for like 60 bucks? would that do it.

Your HP won't just accept any mobo. Most likely will only accept HP boards, unless you've confirmed with HP that your computer uses a standard ATX/mATX board.
Of course, by putting in another HP board, you gain nothing. lol.
FX-57 @ 3.1ghz
4GB of OCZ PC-4200
500GBx4 drive array
Sapphire X850 XT-PE
Fujitsu 1920x1080 projector

umm.. not enough, 120 bucks will do for MB,
40-50 bucks for PSU. you can use your current memory stick. maybe 40 bucks for new HSF.Athlon 64 2800+ @ 2.63 Ghz Stock Cooling

sorry for double post, better buy new one, DO NOT buy branded PC. buy custom made, ask the gurus of computing.net to make you a new killer spec.

And no matter how much you overclock it (assuming you could)...a Celeron is just a Celeron, it'll never perform like a P4
